Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy strives to provide exceptional care throughout a patient’s treatment journey with the specialty medications they need every day. We offer tools and resources for patients, providers and health plans to support health outcomes, and our pharmacies are accredited by several national pharmacy accreditation services.
Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy is staffed by specially-trained pharmacists and nurses who deliver expert care and holistic support for patients with rare diseases and complex conditions. Through personalized care and clinical programs, along with access to the leading number of limited distribution drugs, patients can get back to what matters most.
Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and Walgreens Mail Service are the new names for AllianceRx Walgreens Pharmacy and Walgreens community-based specialty pharmacies, effective August 1, 2024.
We’ve brought AllianceRx Walgreens Pharmacy and community-based specialty pharmacy under one umbrella to make it easier for members, biopharmaceutical partners, providers and payers to know who they’re working with.
Nothing has changed about your treatment. You’ll be able to fill your prescriptions as usual. No action is needed on your end.
You’ll be able to log in to Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy just as you did with AllianceRx, with no changes to your information or treatment.
Your date of birth is used to confirm your identity and to make sure that the person requesting access is really you. This helps ensure that unauthorized individuals do not get access to your pharmacy records online. To learn more about how we manage data, please read our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Prescription Management & Ordering
As long as you’re eligible for digital refills and opt in to our Communication Policy, all prescriptions can be refilled online. If you haven’t opted in or have more questions, please contact us.
If you’ve opted in to receiving electronic communications from us, we’ll automatically let you know when it’s time to schedule a refill. If you need to refill before that, please call the pharmacy: 800-516-9180
Your doctor can send us your new prescription in one of three ways:
E-Prescribe: If your doctor is set up to send prescriptions through an electronic prescribing system, we are certified to accept them. This is the most popular method used by many doctor’s offices today.
Fax: If your doctor is not set up with electronic prescribing, they can fax them to us.
Mail: You or your prescriber can mail prescriptions to us with a completed new order form.
